Bedding made of the finest 100% linen.
The linen collection stands for duvet covers and pillowcases which are exceptionally pleasant to the touch, hand-cut and hand-sewn, and made of 100% linen.
Our bedding is made from linen boasting a truly unique weight of 170 grams.
Our linen is Oeko-Tex 100 certified.
Deep anthracite is guaranteed to look stunning in both classic and modern interiors.
Emkap bedding is hand-cut and hand-sewn, with close attention to the tiniest of details. Our linen pillowcases and duvet covers are closed with overlap and embellished with stylish, linen ties. No more sliding around or bunching up – the linen ties provide that extra stability for your duvet and pillow so that they sit tightly in their covers. We also do without buttons and zippers, which are often damaged during washing.
Linen – just like the down we fill our hand-sewn duvets with – has remarkable thermoregulatory properties. In summer, linen bedding gently cools your skin down and allows it to breathe; while in winter, it covers you snugly and guarantees you’ll feel warm and comfortable throughout the long, cold nights . Linen is also very effective at moisture absorption.
Linen is an ideal fabric for bedding – and it works particularly well as a cover for natural duvets filled with Polish goose down boasting extraordinary fill power.
Linen is the best and the most expensive natural material. It boasts unique health-related properties, it’s eco-friendly, durable, and has been in use for an extremely long time.

Linen is the most eco-friendly and environmentally safe material. Unlike cotton, it does not require huge amounts of water, and there are no chemicals involved in its cultivation – which, in fact, fertilizes the soil. Grown in Poland, the carbon footprint stemming from its’ transportation is low. Put simply, linen is the perfect material for the times of heightened climate uncertainty we are currently experiencing.
Growing linen requires a lot of patience, time and, effort. It’s an annual plant that demands a lot of attention.
Quite possibly, linen is the very first fabric produced by humans. Since the beginning of time, it has found a multitude of uses: as a currency; used to wrap mummies in ancient Egypt; and it was used to make linen underwear to be worn under warm, woollen clothes in cold regions of Europe. The word “lingerie” stems directly from linen and its use as underwear.
